Carlton Centre and Hotel Marshalls Town

The Carlton Centre complex includes the office tower, old hotel and shopping mall. It occupies the block from Commissioner to Main and Kruis to Von Wielligh streets. The complex is a Johannesburg landmark with a rich history. At the time of construction, the tower was the tallest reinforced concrete structure in the world and the tallest building in Africa.
