Daventry Court Killarney

Completed in 1935, it was one of the first modern-type apartment buildings in Killarney, and helped to establish high-density accommodation as a desirable lifestyle. This outstanding example of art deco-inspired architecture deliberately called to mind the streamlined shapes of the day. Designed by architect Leopold Grinker, along with T Scharer, H Skelly, C Small and I Wayburne. (Blue plaque)
